The Soul Fly Buddies

Who are we?

We are an advisory group of participants set up to oversee and advise the Gig Buddies project. We catch up monthly and help shape the Gig Buddies project going forward.

Gig Buddies prides itself on being a truly user led organisation. If you think we can make Gig Buddies better... we want to hear from you.

A little about me: My name is Alex, I am a young adult between 25 & 35 years of age, I have been an OG-original participant of GigBuddies since the year 2015. I enjoy creating content that is largely digital for other like-minded people. I also enjoy watching Television shows such as F.R.I.E.N.DS! Family Guy, Futurama, The Simpsons, as well as kids shows from the Nineties era.

Why I joined Soul Fly Buddies: GigBuddies is such a fantastic organisation to be part of, so to show my support for it, I feel like I am doing a good thing by being part of SoulFly Buddies to help make the GigBuddies legacy continue to grow as well as stay strong for many years to come.

Best event I have ever been to: tricky...But if I had to pick, (apart from all things related to The Wiggles live shows), I would go with the two opportunities of participating in Mardi Gras 2021, as well as 2022 with GigBuddies, I enjoyed being part of both the same event that I would never would have thought I would have been part of, showing that people living with additional needs is not something that are they should be ashamed of but something that they should be proud of.
