Calling all buddies. We’re organising our first ever trivia fundraising event - and we’re asking you to get involved.

We’re currently working on finding a suitable and cost effective venue for our Christmas party. Booking a hotel that will host over 100 attendees during the busy festive period is an expensive business.
Therefore, to assist with the unavoidable expenses, we’re hosting a trivia fundraiser - and ALL MONEY raised on the night will go towards our Christmas party.
Taking place on Monday 7 September, we’re inviting our community to join us for our very own battle of wits. Expect fun, prizes, giveaways and good times!
We’re eager to reduce the cost of our Christmas party so we can ensure as many buddies as possible can attend. Therefore, we’re asking our community to come together and support our first ever fundraising event.
More details on tickets, times, prizes and venue will be announced within the coming weeks. But, for now, we’re asking people to set aside the evening of Monday 7 September.

Football, trivia, roast dinner
The FIFA World Cup is in full swing and, despite the weekend’s results, the Socceroos are still well placed to reach the second round - needing either a draw or a victory in their last group game against Paraguay.

To mark the occasion we’re inviting buddies to join us in Gosford on Friday for the midday kick off. We’ll be meeting at Archies Sports Bar - be there to see if the Socceroos can do it!
As for our other June events, limited tickets are still available for this Thursday’s Gig Buddies Rainbow trivia gathering and for Sunday’s over 35s Sunday roast.

We’re down to the final few tickets for all events. To join us at the Burdekin for a battle of wits, Surry Hills for a Sunday roast of Gosford for goals, keep reading.

Please note, Saturday’s mini golf gathering in Penrith is fully booked.
Join us in July
July is almost upon us - a month that sees us facilitate a total of 11 socials.

So far, our market gathering in Kirribilli has sold out, while spots are running low for the remaining TEN socials.

Add some triumph to your tax return
And finally, with the end of the financial year almost upon us, why not make a tax deductible donation to Gig Buddies?

With just over a week to go until the end of the tax year, now is the time to consider a contribution to our cause.
All donations over $2 can be reclaimed from July 1st - hopefully a tempting reason to temporarily part with your hard earned and help us tackle social isolation for adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities and/or autism.
To contribute to our cause, click here.
Please note: a receipt will be issued upon donation, please keep a record for your own tax purposes.
