Parklea, the CBD, Pittwater, Bondi, Epping, Crows Nest, Erina, Eastwood, Guildford and Banksia: in August we’ll be connecting with buddies all throughout Sydney and the Central Coast.

We bid farewell to winter with a total of TEN socials: we’re bringing trips to the market, a visit to the Archibald Prize, pool and dinner, and a live show. Our 35+ catch ups return, and we’ll also be meeting up for line dancing, burgers and movies, pub trivia, and live music.

Surf's up
Our friends from Ocean Heroes are hosting another free surfing session.

The team at Ocean Heroes aim "to enhance the lives of neurodiverse people through surfing". To date, they have taken over 9000 neurodiverse people surfing across Australia.
Back in March they hosted six buddies at Manly Beach - and this time they’re heading east, offering a FREE session in North Bondi.
Spots are limited. To find out more (and to sign up), load up the link below:
Kicking goals
Our newly announced surf social is in addition to the other TEN catch ups we’re facilitating in July.
Next month we’re inviting buddies to join us for arcades, bowling, food gatherings, rugby league, rugby union, tennis, ping pong, putt putt, drag racing, AFL, and our usual Christmas in July catch up.

We’re staging socials in Parramatta, Sylvania, Bondi, Balmain, Manly, Chatswood, Eastern Creek, Sydney Olympic Park and Gosford.

Add some triumph to your tax return
Time is ticking! With the end of the financial year almost upon us, why not consider making a tax deductible donation to Gig Buddies?

Gig Buddies is a ‘deductible gift recipient’ (DGR) organisation, allowing us to receive tax deductible gifts or donations. By making a donation you can help reduce your taxable income while playing a part in tackling social isolation for adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities and/or autism.
Every donation of $2 or more is tax-deductible. A receipt will be issued upon donation; please keep a record for your own tax purposes.
Make a donation by 30 June to claim a deduction on your tax return.

It’s great to have Alex and Joe (above, L - R), plus Nerida and Daniella (not pictured) both on board.
Doubling up
And last week we also prepped two newbies.

We want to say thanks to Linda and Adam (above, L - R) for joining us on Zoom for volunteer training.
