Out and about in October

Pub trivia, dinners, comedy, the movies, beach strolls and banger rolls, three live music offerings and a festival: we’re hosting 11 socials this October.

ree

Our October outings will see us connect with buddies in Ambarvale, Newtown, Cremorne, Liverpool, Warriewood, Ettalong, Wahroonga, Eastwood, Bondi, Caringbah and the CBD.

Then there were two....

We’re down to the final two of our August social gatherings.

ree

Firstly, on the 28th of this month you’ll find us in Guildford. We invite buddies to join us for a night of pub trivia and dinner.

ree

And one day later we head south, catching up in Banksia for food and live music.

To join us for either (and to find out more about both events), jump on the links below:

Please note, the three other gatherings yet to take place this month - line dancing, movies and burgers, and Eastwood night markets - are all fully booked.

Put a spring in your step.....

And looking ahead to next month and the start of spring, of our 11 September socials three are fully booked.

ree

So far the glow bowls outing in North Sydney, Oktoberfest catch up in Ryde and movie walking tour in the city have sold out, while tickets to our Auburn, Eastlakes, Newtown, Gordon and Lisarow gatherings are on the verge of booking out.

Be quick if you want to join us next month. To reserve your place to any of our September socials, load up the links below:

And if you have questions about any of our forthcoming events, get in touch: we can be reached via Facebook Messenger, email: info@gigbuddiessydney.org or via text or phone call on 0411 252 228.

Here’s three we prepped earlier.

We want to say thanks to volunteers Dina (top), Jai (left) and Andy (right) for joining us online for training.

Gigs, gigs, gigs

For those not in the know, each month we email gig ideas to our paired up buddies and volunteers.

Our aim is to provide buddies and volunteers with suggestions for their monthly catch ups. The recommended events take place around Sydney and the Central Coast and include gigs, festivals, sport, markets and other activities.

We have now moved our monthly 'event suggestions' to our website. To check out September’s offering, click the following here.

ree

PLEASE NOTE: the events listed on our event suggestions post (except for our Gig Buddies social events) are not facilitated by the Gig Buddies’ team.

Flaunt it and win!

And lastly, our Gig Buddies’ merch competition is up and running and we’re calling on our community to snap, upload, tag and win!

ree

For our latest competition we’re giving buddies the chance to win one of two $50 gift vouchers!

We’re asking you to don your Gig Buddies’ merch, take a snap and then share your best selfie.

Once you’ve taken your photo(s), either share via social media and tag us on Facebook or Instagram, or upload your picture to our website.

ree

We’re urging our community to get creative! The closing date is Saturday 27 September. Buddies can submit as many entries as they like. The Gig Buddies’ team will notify the winners (as selected by us) on Monday 29 September.

And if you would like to update your wardrobe with our latest batch of merch, click here.
