Our springtime gig guide has landed.
Starting in three weeks’ time, between now and summer we have lined up three events.
Firstly, come and join us at Sussex Street’s Slip Inn on Tuesday 24 September for Taco Tuesday!
With $5 tacos served all night and happy hour running from 5 - 7pm, come catch up with your fellow gig buddies for a night of Mexican goodness.
And continuing on a food theme, on Friday 11 October we’ll be participating in a Gig Buddies Sydney first - the Sydney Noodle Markets.
Taking place at the city’s Hyde Park, we’ll be feasting on plenty of tasty treats. On the night food-lovers will experience the best from Bangkok Street Food, Chinese Dim Sum King, Satay Brothers, Mr Bao and May’s Malaysian Hawker (click here to see the full list).
Both food events are free to attend, just bring money to get your fill on food and drink. Please note, the Noodle Markets is a cashless event; attendees are required to pay for all purchases on card (all major cards accepted).
Finally, we’ll be finishing things off in spooooooktecular style as we take to the water to celebrate Halloween.
On Thursday 31 October we’ll “hop aboard the ultimate Halloween Party Boat on Sydney Harbour, enjoying three hours of spectacular fun”.
Tickets cost $65 each and include “cocktail platter-style dinner served on a rotational basis; cash bar; dance floors and all night professional DJ; indoor and outdoor decks for 360 degree views”.
The event starts at 8pm and concludes at 11pm. With prizes on offer for the best costume, fancy dress is highly recommended!

And in other news, our efforts to pair up more buddies continue. Last Saturday (31/8) we held another volunteer training session - thanks to Matt, Sarah, Zoe and Charlie (below, L - R) for coming in.
