Legs 11

Put a spring in your step this September and join us at one of our 11 outings.

The first of our spring socials will see us connect with buddies in Auburn, Eastlakes, Newtown, Bella Vista, Gordon, Lisarow, Mona Vale, Bondi, North Sydney, Ryde and the CBD.

Jump on the links above to join us for breakfast, a community fair, games, two live shows, miniature golf, trivia and pizza, bowls, live music and Oktoberfest, and a movie walking tour.

Before the bounce

And on the subject of our socials, we have three remaining this month - two of which are now sold out.

For those looking to connect with us for one last time in July, this Friday we head to Sydney Olympic Park for the AFL Sydney derby!

The Giants will be looking to cement their top four spot, while it’s a must win match for the Swans if they’re to have any hope of making the top eight. To join us at Engie Stadium, jump on the link below

Please note, our two other socials taking place this weekend - Christmas in July in Gosford and Sunday lunch in Como - are both fully booked.

Change of plans

We’ve made a change to our Northern Beaches pool and dinner August catch up.

Now taking place on Wednesday 13, we’re inviting buddies to join us in Brookvale for a night of cue sport and a bite to eat.

To join us at Chalky’s, keep reading.

Farewell winter

In addition to our newly announced gathering in Brookvale, in August we’ll also be connecting with buddies in Parklea, the CBD, Epping, Crows Nest, Erina, Eastwood, Guildford and Banksia.

Tickets are starting to shift. So far our gathering in Bondi has sold out, while our 35+ catch up, the movie event in Erina and the market outing in Eastwood are on the verge of booking out.

Two up

It’s wonderful to welcome two new matches to the fold.

Say hello to Emma and Simon (left, L - R) and Meg and Katrina (right, L - R). We look forward to hearing more about their forthcoming adventures.

Updated plan?

And finally, here’s a friendly reminder for buddies with Gig Buddies’ NDIS service agreements.

If you have an unscheduled plan review or the dates/details of your plan change for any reason, it’s very important you let us know.

Any changes to an NDIS participant's plan will automatically make your Gig Buddies' service agreement void.

We need to be informed of any date changes so we can update your service agreement and ensure you’re still covered by our public liability insurance when out with your volunteer.

If there have been any changes to your plan or if you’re unsure about your current service agreement, please contact Chelsea, our NDIS Coordinator, either via email: chelsea@assistcom.org or phone: 0412 145 819 or 02 9419 6951 (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8am - 4pm).
