Sunday in the Shire

Thanks to everyone who joined us in Cronulla for yesterday's NRL.

We formed part of the 10,964 crowd as gig buddies watched charity partner, Cronulla Sharks, in action against Brisbane Broncos.

Unfortunately for Sharks, the Broncos returned to Queensland with the points having secured a narrow victory, 24-22.

To see more photos from yesterday’s outing, click here to load up our Sharks Buddies gallery.

As per our partnership with the Sharks, we’ll be attending one more fixture this season - our charity fundraiser on Saturday 24 August against New Zealand Warriors. On the day we’ll be promoting our cause, appearing on the big screen and hosting our very own information tent.

Tickets to the game are free and allocated on a first come, first serve basis. To reserve your spot, and to find out about our return bus service from both Milsons Point and Central Station, click here.

And as a reminder, on Wednesday of that week (21/8) we’ll be taking selfies and getting autographs with Sharks’ first team and management. Like the game on the Saturday, this is also a free event.

Ho, ho, ho

Attention now turns to our next Gig Buddies Sydney social - the Christmas in July party taking place at Sea Life Sydney Aquarium on Saturday 27 July.

If you haven't checked out our promotional video, click on the clip below to find out what goes on at a ‘silent disco under the sea’.

And if the video has inspired you to be a part of our Christmas in July shenanigans, click here to purchase a ticket.

Two more to go

And finally, last Monday (1/7) we completed the pairing of buddies Sam and Brandon (below, L - R).

Welcome to the Gig Buddies Sydney family - we’re looking forward to hearing about your trips to the movies and to sporting events.
