“I also went to the Slipknot Museum…”

“Hi there,

I want to share my experience of going to Knotfest at Sydney’s Centennial Park on the March 25.

I met up with Rodrigo (my buddy), his friends plus other gig buddies, Michelle and Marlowe.

Before that I went to Utopia Records to try and get my Megadeth CD signed by Dave Mustaine. When I got there I was told by a good friend that you have to buy the new album from the store, you cannot bring the CD from somewhere else. This is a silly way to treat your fans and I didn’t get my CD signed.

After that I caught the light rail to Moore Park; the event was headlined by Slipknot, Parkway Drive, Trivium, Megadeth, Amon Amarth, plus many more.

During the gig I had dinner and drinks, and watched all metal bands that were there with Rodrigo and his mates.

I also went to the Slipknot Museum that they brought out to the festival. They displayed all their memorabilia from all their past and present shows, along with sharing video clips of the band in action.

I love Corey Taylor! He’s a great singer, and Slipknot are one of the best metal bands to date. I had a fantastic time - it was a great afternoon and night.”
