Our festive party plans are locked in.
Last week we asked you to ‘save the date’ and today we’re asking you to join us at Darlinghurst’s Universal Sydney for our final shindig of the year.

Expect a night of festive cheer and plenty of party classics. Whether you’re based in Sydney or on the Central Coast, we invite you to join us on Thursday 27 November for our Christmas gathering.
Silent night
Back by popular demand, we're going silent for this year's festive shindig!
That's right, we'll be partying to the sounds of a silent disco. With multiple channels on offer, you choose the tunes!
We'll then round the night off with a live DJ set. Expect plenty of bangers and the odd Christmas remix.
And no Gig Buddies' party is complete without our usual door prizes.
Now bring us some figgy pudding!
And in our attempts to keep costs to a minimum, we will not be providing food at this year's party.
Instead, on the night attendees can order and pay for their own food from the venue.

Out and about
And looking towards the month of October, we’ve TEN socials taking place - connecting with buddies in Ambarvale, Newtown, Cremorne, Liverpool, Warriewood, Ettalong, Wahroonga, Eastwood, Caringbah and the CBD.

So far our social in Bondi is the only gathering that is fully booked. We expect this to change soon so jump on the links below to join us for pub trivia, dinners, comedy, the movies, beach strolls and banger rolls, live music offerings and a festival.
Boo!
And lastly on the social front, we were unable to find a suitable Halloween event that was taking place in the month of October.
Worry not, however, for one day later we’ll be meeting up in the city.

On Saturday 1 November we’re inviting buddies to join us for a ‘Halloween Zombie Walk’.
To get involved, jump on the link below:
And if you have questions about any of our forthcoming events, get in touch: we can be reached via Facebook Messenger, email: info@gigbuddiessydney.org or via text or phone call on 0411 252 228.

Say hello to our latest batch of new matches.

It’s wonderful to welcome Lex and PJ (left, L - R) and Fi and Georgina (right, L - R) to the fold.
Winner, winner
Congratulations to champion netballers Jemima (below L) and Nalyn (below R).
They were part of the successful Netball NSW All Abilities Team, who defended their title in Brisbane and retained the Marie Little Shield.

Our very own Chelsea was also courtside, as NSW finished the tournament unbeaten and closed out the weekend with a 13–9 win over Victoria in the grand final.

Flaunt it and win!
And lastly, our Gig Buddies’ merch competition is up and running and we’re calling on our community to snap, upload, tag and win!

For our latest competition we’re giving buddies the chance to win one of two $50 gift vouchers!
We’re asking you to don your Gig Buddies’ merch, take a snap and then share your best selfie.
Once you’ve taken your photo(s), either share via social media and tag us on Facebook or Instagram, or upload your picture to our website.

We’re urging our community to get creative! The closing date is Saturday 27 September. Buddies can submit as many entries as they like. The Gig Buddies’ team will notify the winners (as selected by us) on Monday 29 September.
