Merry Christmas

Writer's picture: Gig Buddies SydneyGig Buddies Sydney

Thanks to everyone who joined us on Saturday for our epic Christmas party.

In what was our biggest ever social event, more than 90 buddies celebrated with us at the Bristol Arms Hotel.

And buddies partied long into the night - hitting up Retro Nightclub following our food and drinks.

We can't wait to do it all again in 2020. In the meantime, click here to check out the full photo gallery from our Christmas catch up.

2019 - what a year…..

Saturday's shindig aside, this year participants attended a record 45 Gig Buddies Sydney social events - ten more than in 2018.

This year was our most experimental in terms of Gig Buddies Sydney socials: within the past 365 days buddies attended live music, the cinema, NRL, AFL, netball, comedy, cricket, theatre, basketball, bingo, musicals, food events and a Halloween boat cruise.

Our gigs are great ways to expand social circles and meet new people. They’re open to anyone who’s submitted an online application - irrespective if that person is paired up or not, and this year we had over 650 attendees at our 45 events.

Thanks to everyone who joined us for a night out. Our plans for the new year are already taking shape - we’ll be dropping our summer gig guide on Monday 6 January.

Sock it to ‘em

It's not too late to buy your nearest and dearest a Gig Buddies Sydney-inspired fashion statement.

Our socks are the perfect present idea for this year's Christmas. As modelled by Harri (above), they're so versatile they even go with sandals!

Available in three different sizes, our socks sale for $10 per pair ($14 including postage and packaging) and can be purchased here.

More matched buddies

And lastly, we're delighted to welcome our three newest matches (below) to the Gig Buddies Sydney family.

Say hello to Julia and Marina (left, L - R), Jesse and Monique (top right, L - R) and Kyle and Morgan (bottom right, L - R).

It’s great to have you on board, and we look forward to seeing you out and about in 2020.
