Our birthday roll call 🎈🎉

Come join your fellow gig buddies this Saturday (23/2) as we blow out the candles on our birthday cake.

Dust off the fluro gear and dig out that big wig as we get set to party to the sounds of Like Totally 80s, who are performing at Balgowlah RSL.

The show starts at 8pm and the invites are open to all: whether paired up or not, we invite buddies, friends and family to come celebrate as we turn four. To buy tickets click here.

Additionally, should you have any questions feel free to get in touch via email, info@gigbuddiessydney.org, or give us a call on 02 9419 6951

Our trips to the flicks

Last Saturday (16/2) we partook in a Gig Buddies Sydney first - the open-air cinema in Bondi for the screening of Mary Poppins Returns.

We had such a good time that we forgot to take any pictures! If anyone happened to capture the evening please email us your photos and we’ll duly share across our social media channels: info@gigbuddiessydney.org

We get to do it all again in two weeks, this time at North Sydney Oval for Mary Queen of Scots - tickets to which are still available. To find out more information about our second open-air cinema event click here.

Extra! Extra! Read all about it!

To those not in the know, last week gig buddies Will and David featured in Time Out Sydney magazine. The article can be read here, and off the back of their wonderful words we were approached by Sam, manager for Swing Dance Sydney.

Swing Dance Sydney provide dance classes and throw regular parties featuring live DJs and bands, and Sam has generously offered free entry for all gig buddies in 2019!

Should you be interested in attending, get in touch with us at Gig Buddies Sydney HQ and we’ll do the rest.

To the poets who don't know it

Last Thursday (14/2 - Valentine’s Day) we launched a competition, offering participants the chance to win one of our newly branded Gig Buddies Sydney pens and a pair of our socks.

As you may have gathered, we’re not that good at creative writing. Therefore, we turn to you….

Thursday 21 March is World Poetry Day and to mark the occasion we invite buddies, friends and family to submit limericks, poems or sonnets about Gig Buddies Sydney.

We’re looking for people to submit their handiwork either via email, info@gigbuddiessydney.org or Facebook Messenger, and the best entries will be shared via our social media channels.
