It’s been another busy seven days on the social front.
Kicking off the first of three Sydney Festival events, last Tuesday buddies attended Parramatta’s Riverside Theatres for Shanghai Mimi (below).
And this weekend just gone, we returned to Parramatta for Symphony Under The Stars (above), followed by a jaunt to Hyde Park’s Spiegeltent for a live music fix courtesy of Julia Holter (below).
That concludes our involvement with Sydney Festival for another year. We would like to take this moment to thank organisers for generously providing us with free access to some of the best shows on offer.
Social events aside, our work behind the scenes continues. This week we made one pairing and held our first training session of the year. Thanks to Jethro, Niri and Benjamin (below, L - R) for coming in last Thursday (17/1) and learning all about us.
We continue in our mission to have 160 buddies paired up before the end of 2019 - and last Wednesday (16/1) we welcomed Dagmar and Yasmin (below, L - R) to the Gig Buddies Sydney family.
Attention now turns to our three remaining summer socials, starting with the basketball on Sunday 3 February. Tickets are still available for the Sydney Kings vs. Brisbane Bullets - to join your fellow gig buddies at Sydney Olympic Park’s Qudos Arena, click here.
Additionally, tickets are still available for Mary Queen of Scots, Mary Poppins and our 4th birthday.
