We’re excited to announce our FULL summer gig guide.
We’re delighted to reveal details about FOUR new socials, including information on our birthday.
On Saturday 23 February we’ll be readying our big wigs and fluro gear as we party to the sounds of Like Totally 80s. Come join us at Balgowlah RSL as we blow out the candles on our birthday cake.
Due to popular demand, this summer we’ll also be venturing to two open-air cinema screenings. On Saturday 16 February you’ll find us at Bondi Pavilion for Mary Poppins Returns, and two weeks later - on Saturday 2 March - we head to North Sydney Oval for Mary Queen of Scots.
And on Sunday 3 February we partake in another Gig Buddies first, the basketball between Sydney Kings and Brisbane Bullets. Tipping off at 2:15pm, we’ll be front and centre at the Qudos Arena, Sydney Olympic Park.
Tickets to our latest socials can be purchased here.
These new gigs are in addition to the events previously announced, A Ghost in My Suitcase (sold out), Shanghai Mimi (sold out), Julia Holter (sold out) and Symphony Under The Stars - all of whom are performing as part of this year’s Sydney Festival.
Additionally, this Sunday (13/1) we head to Olympic Park’s Spotless Stadium for the Big Bash clash between Sydney Thunder and Adelaide Strikers. Tickets are still available; if you would like to join us at the cricket, head to our ticket page here.
Happy New Year
During the Christmas break, buddies Chris and Michael (below, L - R) headed to the Oxford Art Factory for their first gig.
Soccer Mommy were performing on the night, and en route to the city the two discussed their new year’s resolution:
“To become good friends with my new buddy”.
With those wonderful words, here’s us wishing all our gig buddies a happy new year.
