Our Marrickville movements

We’re less than one week out from our next social shindig - Sunday’s Marrickville Festival.

Whether paired up or not, come and join your fellow gig buddies as we head to the Inner West for a daytime street party.

On the day we’ll be sampling “local produce, handmade artisan works, gifts and community groups as well as a main stage program, international dance floor, the break music competition and a range of free activities for kids and the whole family”.

Marrickville Festival brings together over 120 stalls and 50 performers across five stages.

Gig Buddies Sydney staff members Carol, Tony, Paula and myself will also be in attendance. Should you wish to come along get in touch via email, info@gigbuddiessydney.org, and we’ll pass on our contact details.

In other news, thanks to Katya, Laura and Nicole (below L - R) for attending Saturday’s volunteer training - the first session in our new office.

With three more volunteer training sessions lined up in November, we’re on course to have 100 buddies paired up before the end of the year.
