Calling all gig buddies, would you like to get up close with the stars from our charity partner, Cronulla Sharks?
We’ve been invited to attend an open training session, taking place at Shark Park on Monday June 4th.
Just like the past two NRL seasons, gig buddies will have the opportunity to watch the team in training, get autographs and take photos with Sharks’ players and management.
The invite is open to gig buddies, family members and support workers. If you are interested in attending, get in touch via email: info@gigbuddiessydney.org
In other news, the Gig Buddies Sydney team were on hand to present at Settlement Services International (SSI) DiversityAbility: NDIS Inclusion Conference last Thursday (19/4).
Informing the audience in Parramatta about the project, we fielded questions and spoke about our approach to tackling social isolation.
Having also recently presented at Jewish Care in Bondi, we have since lined up another presentation with a disability organisation based in Chastwood.
If you, or someone you know, would like to know more about the project we’re happy to inform organisations - both from a disability and volunteer perspective - about the work we do.
To find out more get in contact with us at the office on 02 9419 6951 or via email: info@gigbuddiessydney.org
