Gig Buddies goes to Sydney Festival

We’re excited to announce details of two Sydney Festival gigs we’re to attend in 2018.

Event organisers have generously supplied free limited tickets to Lords of Strut: Absolute Legends (above), taking place on Friday 12 Jan at 3.30pm, and Trygve Wakenshaw: Nautilus (below), happening on Saturday 27 Jan at 3pm. Both events will be held at the Magic Mirrors Speigeltent, Meriton Festival Village, Hyde Park.

We’ll soon post more information on the other Sydney Festival gigs we’re planning to attend. In the meantime, to reserve your place for either of these events get in touch via email: info@gigbuddiessydney.org

Thanks, too, to Grill’d Chatswood who have selected us as one of their monthly Local Matters charities.

If you’re in the area and fancy a burger, be sure to place your cap in the Gig Buddies Sydney jar (below). The charity with the most lids pockets $300.

Finally, hats off the everyone who popped by and said hello during yesterday’s International Day of People with Disability event in Miranda.

On what was a glorious day, it was great to catch up with our Shire-based gig buddies, while informing other about the work we do.
