Sydney Festival 2018 – we return!

Following last week’s unveiling, we are delighted to announce that we’ll be returning to next year’s Sydney Festival.

Taking place between 6 - 28 January and with a line up that features live music, cabaret, theatre, circus, comedy and dance, event organisers have generously offered Gig Buddies Sydney participants’ the chance to attend three gigs for free.

During this Friday’s scheduled meeting, Gig Buddies Sydney’s user-led team, Soul Fly Band, will shortlist potential events for us to attend.

We’re all ears at Gig Buddies Sydney HQ. We urge all gig buddies to check out the Sydney Festival website and, if an event catches your eye, feel free to get in touch and we’ll inform the Soul Fly Band. We can be reached via email: or by phone: 9419 6951

In addition to attending ticketed events, we’ll also be stopping off at Meriton Festival Village (below) – taking advantage of the array of free entertainment on offer.

In other Sydney Festival news, for anyone who has ordered a hard copy of the 2018 brochure, be sure to check out the back page.

Having entered the Faces of Sydney Festival competition back in July, gig buddies Scott (top right) and Dom (bottom right) made the final cut.
