We go again….

As we head into week two of the Sydney Festival, we’re getting ready to soak up more live entertainment.

Firstly, thanks to everyone who attended last night’s Regurgitator gig in Meriton Village, Hyde Park. Over 10 of us, including Ralph (below), rocked to their take on The Velvet Underground & Nico.

This Saturday (21/1), we’re heading to Circus on the Screen: The Show of Shows in Parramatta.

We have heard from a number of gig buddies, telling us that they have registered for the event but have not heard back.

Sydney Festival have since informed us that the gig is fully booked; however, they have allocated us a number of seats, and we have emailed everyone who contacted us to let them know they have been allocated a ticket.

Sydney Festival have also informed us that, should more tickets become available, they will be in touch. If you would like to attend please get in contact (02 9419 6951 or via email: info@gigbuddiessydney.org). We cannot guarantee entry, but you will be put on a waiting list.

We still have a handful of free tickets for country 8-piece group Halfway, who take to the Magic Mirrors Speigeltent in Hyde Park at 5.30pm the following day (Sunday 22/1). To reserve your spot email us (info@gigbuddiessydney.org); tickets will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.

Finally, last Saturday (14/1) we were joined by our newest gig buddy, Dom (below), as we headed to the Domain to sample the Symphony under the Stars.

“This was my first time at a symphony concert. I really enjoyed it and it makes me want to do more things, and go to events that I haven’t been to…. I’m very open minded when it comes to gigs and would like to go to anything”

We're looking forward to seeing Dom at Saturday's circus gig in Parramatta.
