Starting this Friday (December 2) and going until our second birthday in February, we’ve several Gig Buddies Sydney dates for your diaries.

During last Friday’s Soul Fly Band meeting (above) our service user group came up with a list of events we’ll be attending throughout summer. Whether paired up or not, or if you simply want to know more about Gig Buddies Sydney, check out our Summer Gig Guide (below) and come and join us.

We’ll be attending three Sydney Festival gigs in January: Symphony under the Stars in The Domain on Saturday 14th; Regurgitator perform the Velvet Underground & Nico at the Magic Mirrors Spiegeltent on Tuesday 17th; and Circus on Screen: The Show of Shows at the Riverside Theatres, Parramatta on Saturday 21st.

Finally, to round out summer and coinciding with our second birthday, we’ll be checking out the Twilight Food Fair in North Sydney on Friday February 10. Come along for a night of live music and a “variety of tasty global cuisines including Thai, Malaysian, South American, Chinese, German, Turkish, Italian, Japanese, Indian and Middle Eastern.”

As for this Friday, join us as we hit up George Street’s Palace Hotel for Christmas drinks, tickets for which are still available from the organiser’s website.

The day after, to mark International Day of People with Disabilities (Saturday December 3), we’re Miranda bound. Come along to Centenary Park and say hello as we, along with Cronulla Sharks’ players and the NRL trophy, launch Sharks Buddies.

If you would like more information about any of these gigs or if you fancy joining us, get in contact: info@gigbuddiessydney.org
