Vivid Sydney – want to go on the cheap? First in, best dressed

With Vivid Festival just around the corner we have been approached by organisers offering our gig buddies and volunteers the chance to take in one of two shows at a discounted rate.

Tickets are strictly limited so be quick, but for $5 each gig buddies and volunteers have the chance to witness either Hiatus Kaiyote with Sampa the Great (above) or Ta-ku featuring Wafia (below), both of whom are playing at the Sydney Opera House.

As per the small print, gig buddies and volunteers are eligible for the discounted rate for one show only. If you are interested in attending either get in contact and we can assist with the finer details.

On a separate note, our newest gig buddies’ pairing, Kelsey (below right) and her volunteer Heejung had their first outing this weekend, taking in the stand up offerings of Stephen K. Amos, who was in town for the Sydney Comedy Festival.

In the words of Heejung: “We couldn't stop laughing from all the jokes, the "you had to be there to see it" moments and just enjoying each other's company! Our stomachs hurt from laughing still.”

We love your work guys.
