One gig down, one to go

This Friday (22/1) we’re venturing to Parramatta for our second foray into the Sydney Festival, hitting up the Riverside Theatres for Cypher.

With limited tickets still available via the Sydney Festival website, come and join your fellow volunteers and gig buddies, plus a group of staff for what will be an up close and personal exhibition of hip-hop culture, led by four “battled hardened b*boys”.

We’ll be arriving at the Riverside Theatres for 630pm. With the dance off starting at 730pm we’ll be around before and after, soaking up the festival vibes along with checking out the eateries and bars.

Last Wednesday (13/1) we kicked off our jaunt to the Sydney Festival. Joined by gig buddies Hayes and Ralph (along with their respective volunteers Stefan and Simon - below), we checked out New Zealand band The Chills, who delivered an indie-pop fused set to a packed out Spiegeltent.

Finally, we’ve had a fantastic response to last week’s blog, detailing our first Gig Buddies Sydney social for 2016. If you would like to join us in Rozelle’s Merton Hotel on Saturday 27th February, get your name on the guestlist by getting in touch.
