The volunteer space

We’re always looking at ways to create a happier, more connected community of volunteers. Therefore we’ve come up with our very own dedicated Facebook page - the 'Gig Buddies Sydney volunteer space’

Our new Facebook page will act as a go-to platform for feedback and discussions, enabling people the chance to share their thoughts - all with the intention to improve both the project and volunteer experience.

We’ll share information about resources while enabling volunteers the opportunity to connect with their contemporaries.

Please note, this page is for paired up volunteers only and there’s no obligation to join. For those who would like to sign up, we’ll get in touch with you soon.

Movies and meals out

This past week we held social events in the city and in Campbelltown - it was great to catch up with so many buddies.

Thanks to everyone who joined us in The Rocks for pizza and movie night at The Argyle, and a big shout out to those buddies who headed to The Bavarian in Campbelltown for a spot of Sunday lunch.

Microphones at the ready 🎤

This week buddies are invited to join us on Zoom for a round of karaoke.

Say hello to……

We’d like to take this opportunity to welcome our newest team member, Emma.

Emma will be with us every Friday and she’s looking forward to meeting and speaking with participants. Here’s more from her:

“I'm currently a student in training with Gig Buddies and I’m keen to hit the ground running with the team. I would describe myself as dedicated and hard working, and I like to bring a smile and energy to my learning.

I enjoy all kinds of music and entertainment, and I like to also play soccer in my spare time.”

We’re delighted to have Emma work alongside us.

Four more matches

This week we made a quartet of new pairings.

Here’s us introducing Andrew and Ryan (top left, L - R), Eugene and Harry (top right, L - R), Nathan and Tom (bottom left, L - R) and Liam and Angus (bottom right, L - R). We look forward to hearing about their forthcoming gig buddies’ adventures.
