There are some great events happening around Sydney and the Central Coast next month.

Sydney CBD

This dynamic model—located on Level 2 of Town Hall House—has been an essential urban planning tool since the mid-1980s.

The Moon Festival is also known as Mid-Autumn Festival is the second grandest festival in China after the Lunar New Year.


At this time of the year the moon is believed to be at its fullest and brightest. In Chinese culture the full moon symbolises reunion so families reunite for celebrations to worship and appreciate the moon together, and share mooncakes to celebrate. 


Join creative workshops to make lanterns or badges to take home. Watch a traditional tea ceremony and sample mini mooncakes. And delight in a vibrant music program all weekend.

AFLW: Giants v St Kilda Saints

The Spring Latin Makers Market is a vibrant, family-friendly event celebrating the richness of Latin American culture.

WHEN: from 17th October to 3rd November 2025

WHERE: Bondi to Tamarama Coastal Walk


Sculpture by the Sea will return to Bondi in 2025 as the world’s largest free to the public sculpture exhibition.


The spectacular coastal walk will once again transform into a 2km long sculpture park featuring 100 sculptures by artists from Australia and across the world.

City of Ryde

Celebrating its 40th anniversary, the festival will showcase both classic favourites and exciting new activities, including amusement rides, market stalls, food trucks, live performances, a youth zone, and kids’ activities.


The day will conclude with an action-packed finale show and a spectacular fireworks display.

What makes the Granny Smith Festival truly special is its strong community spirit, with over 200 stallholders, 500 performing artists, and up to 1,000 local participants proudly taking part in the grand street parade.

North Sydney & Northern Beaches

Penrith Regional Gallery presents a mid-career survey exhibition of acclaimed artist Blak Douglas, who grew up in Penrith and began his artistic path there.


He went on to become one of the most recognised artists in Australia, winning the Archibald Prize at the Art Gallery of NSW in 2022 and gaining international recognition.


This exhibition reveals drawings from his very early days as well as major works from different stages of his art practice including sculptures, posters and recent paintings.
