There are some great events happening around Sydney and the Central Coast next month.

This means Gig Buddies staff will not be attending these events or organising outings to these events.


These are just suggestions for things you and your buddy can do together.

Welcome to Curtains Jazz Club, a late-night bar inspired by the world’s great jazz rooms: Ronnie Scott’s in London, Smalls in New York, 70s psychedelic dens, and the record bars of old Tokyo.

The National Indigenous Art Fair showcases the latest award-winning ideas and innovations from Indigenous artists, designers and makers from remote art centres around the country, with each community bringing their particular range of unique handcrafted and limited-edition items produced using locally sourced materials, natural fibres, dyes and the distinctive style of their region.

This iconic winter festival invites visitors to experience a true taste of France, from gooey raclette, escargots and crêpes to rosé bars, mulled wine and a refined cocktail program.

Two incredible Melbourne musicians will be playing Rockdale.


Adam Halliwell will perform Italian folk songs inspired by a quasi-Italian upbringing. Adam is a versatile improviser and lover of performance, and has been an active contributor to numerous musical communities in recent years. He is guitarist and flutist in the psychedelic jazz fusion band Midlife and a member of the group I Hold The Lion’s Paw.

Flora Carbo is a saxophonist, composer and music leader and will bring a new project featuring loopy songs, drum machine and saxophone FX - optimistic, sparse, vulnerable, present and direct.
