Below you will find some event suggestions for December 2025. 


There are some great events happening around Sydney and the Central Coast next month.

These are just suggestions for things you and your buddy can do together.

Sydney CBD

PIX — Australia’s first pictorial news weekly — hit newsstands around the country in January 1938.


With its eye-catching lipstick-red logo, PIX delivered a new style of journalism, using photographs to tell daring stories of modern life. Always intended to shock, entertain and inform, PIX stayed popular with its readers for over 30 years.


This exhibition explores the PIX story — through the people and pictures that made the magazine — for the first time.

Primavera: Young Australian Artists presents the work of early-career artists living and working in Australia, aged 35 years and under.


In its 34th year, curator Tim Riley Walsh brings together five artists investigating society’s relationship to industry and the machine in the 21st century across installation, sculpture, video, and expanded painting

Based on Lionsgate’s worldwide blockbuster film franchise, Now You See Me Live is a stage illusion spectacular taking over Sydney Opera House this summer with an explosive mix of high-tech illusions, solo stunts and jaw-dropping spectacles.

This festival is a special event that features a disability musical exchange project between Bridge On Ensemble (Miral Welfare Foundation, Korea) and the Eben Inclusive Community Orchestra, which is supported and operated by the Canada Bay Council.


The event brings together musicians with disability from both countries to promote cultural exchange, inclusion, and friendship through music.

A festive community event held in partnership with Burwood Council’s annual Christmas Carols in the beautiful surrounds of Burwood Park.


Running from midday into the evening, this vibrant event is the perfect opportunity for stallholders to reach a broad and enthusiastic crowd.

Loud Women is an international intersectional feminist organisation based in London, UK.


Founded in 2015, it champions female, trans and non-binary powered punk, indie and alternative music, creating platforms for underrepresented voices in the music industry.


This is the first time it will come to be in Sydney, with performances from Bitter Tits (USA), Hail Mary Jane, Hot Mess, I, Doris (UK), JuliaWhy?

Christmas Choral Concert is returning to Manly Oval to ignite your festive spirit!


Join us for your favourite carols performed by the Northern Beaches Orchestra, our Community Christmas Choir and local artists alongside festive activities for the whole family. There will be free popcorn for the first 2,000 attendees.


Pack your own picnic, grab takeaway from one of Manly's many restaurants, or treat yourself to something delicious from the food trucks onsite.
