Thanks to all the buddies who joined us at Sunday’s Marrickville Festival.
The weather held out as we soaked up the sights and sounds of the live entertainment, food and market stalls.
On the day we also promoted our services via the Event Tent, an initiative that aims to prolong festival stays for people with disabilities (below).
Run in promotion with Vinnies: Ability Links and the Inner West Council, the Event Tent provides a safe space for people with disabilities, offering smaller tepees (to serve as time out spaces), focus tools, weighted blankets and noise cancelling headphones.
Attention now turns to our forthcoming Christmas party, planned for Saturday 8 December. We’re still working on a few finer details, but all will be revealed next week.
