What: Gig Buddies Festive Party

What time does the party start? 7pm

What time does it end? 10pm

Price: $39 per ticket*
(*not an actual "ticket". Your name will be on the door. A physical ticket or e-ticket will not be sent to you)

All participants and volunteers are welcome (even if your buddy can't make it)

Do you accept the NSW Companion Card: As this is a private event, we're unable to accept the NSW Companion Card or provide free entry to family members or support workers

Tell me about the gig: Join us as we celebrate the end of another year!

We’ll be taking over the Factory Theatre in Marrickville.

Whether you’re based in Sydney or on the Central Coast, we invite you dust off those dancing shoes and join us.

Tell me more about the food and entertainment: The ticket price covers finger food and entertainment (live music and DJ).

Food: Canapés (finger food) will be served on the night. There will be Sliders (small burgers), Spring Rolls and Rice Paper Rolls.

Drinks are not included in the ticket price.

Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options* will all be included.

*If you prefer larger meals we recommend eating before or after the event

The entertainment: We are very excited to have live band Hounddog Harry playing some originals and some classic rock!

As the night progresses we'll then take things up a notch or two, with a Party DJ playing tunes from the Gig Buddies party playlist created by participants!

Dress code: Smart casual

Meeting spot: Meet us at the front entrance of the venue. We will have a Gig Buddies team member there ready to greet you.(see image below)

Access: The venue is wheelchair accessible and has an accessible toilet

How do I get there? Factory Theatre is located on Victoria Road Marrickville.

There are many options to get there.

Sydenham Train Station is an 18minute walk.

Newtown Station is a 23 minute walk (easiest - best option)

St Peters Station is a 22 minute walk (not so easy)

You can get the 430,423 or 426 bus from Sydenham or Newtown Station to shorten your walk.

Of course you can drive (street parking only) or get a taxi or Uber.

What else do I need to bring? Attendees must bring ID to access the venue. No ID, no entry.

Finger food is supplied; please also bring money to purchase drinks.

Don’t forget your Opal card if catching public transport, and your phone or camera to take photos.

How do I join? Register by getting a ticket from this page (click 'add to bag' in the top right hand corner and enter your details)

Please note:

1 Cancellation policy: refunds can be issued up until early Monday 27th. Refunds will not be issued beyond this date.

2 Gig Buddies staff will be in attendance, but will not be on hand to provide individual support. Support staff and family are welcome.

3 Getting there: Transport to and from the venue is not supplied. Attendees are responsible for making their own way to and from the venue.

4 Getting home: Gig Buddies staff may help attendees with catching public transport, taxis or Ubers home - up until 30 minutes after the scheduled end; Gig Buddies staff are unable to assist attendees who remain at the venue beyond this time.

5 Attendees do not need to be paired with a gig buddy to join us. All signed up participants or volunteers are welcome to join us.

6 COVID-19: If you’re feeling unwell we ask that you do not attend.

Gig Buddies takes no responsibility in the event of an attendee falling ill following our outings.

7 Attendees will be notified by text and/or phone call should the event get cancelled.

*** Gig Buddies socials are for signed up participants and volunteers of the project. Participants that require extra support must let the Gig Buddies team know if they will be bringing along a support worker or family member to an event. Thank you. ***
