What: Lunch and live cricket on the bigscreen

Where: Woy Woy Hotel, 33 The Boulevarde, Woy Woy 2256 (see map below)


Tell me about the gig: Join us for a bite to eat as settle in to watch the first session from day 3 of the opening Ashes Test series.

*There will be one Gig Buddies staff member for up to 20 attendees (participants and volunteers combined). If you need extra support, please let us know if you plan on bringing a support worker/support person with you to this event.

When: Sunday 23 November

What time do we meet? 1pm

What time does the cricket start? 1:20pm

What time does the social end? 3:30pm (approximately)


Meeting spot: Inside the venue. We've reserved a table in the beer garden, under the name 'Matthew'

How do I get there? Woy Woy Hotel is a short walk from Woy Woy Train Station, while buses run frequently along surrounding streets. For those driving, free parking can be found at Woy Woy Train Station car parks.

Please note, transport to and from the venue is not supplied. Attendees are required to make their own way to and from the venue.

Dress code: Casual

What else do I need to bring?

  • Money for purchasing food and drinks (debit card)

  • ID. No ID, no entry

  • Don’t forget your Opal card if catching public transport

  • Phone for pictures and finding staff

  • Mask and sanitiser if you wish

How do I join? Register by getting a ticket from this page (click 'add to bag' in the top right hand corner and enter your details)

Please note:

  1. Attendees must bring ID.

  2. Gig Buddies staff will be in attendance, but will not be on hand to provide individual support.

  3. Getting there: Transport to and from the venue is not supplied. Attendees are responsible for making their own way to and from the venue.

  4. Getting home: Gig Buddies staff may help attendees with catching public transport, taxis or Ubers home - up until 30 minutes after the scheduled end; Gig Buddies staff are unable to assist attendees who remain at the venue beyond this time.

  5. Attendees do not need to be paired with a gig buddy to join us. All signed up participants with a current service agreement or volunteers who have completed compliance are welcome to join us.

  6. COVID-19: If you’re feeling unwell we ask that you do not attend.

  7. Participants who require extra support must let the Gig Buddies team know if they will be bringing along a support worker or family member to an event. Thank you.
