This week we have seen a change in Gig Buddies Sydney personnel as we said a fond farewell to Sean, the project coordinator since our inception in February.
Sean, who has left for a new opportunity within the disability sector, had worked with us at ACL Disability Services for over six years, and listed as his best Gig Buddies Sydney memories our launch party in February (below) and the training and development of so many of our volunteers.
Plans are already afoot to replace Sean (we will endeavour to update our ‘staff profile’ page on our homepage), and we will be informing all new volunteers and participants in our face-to-face meetings and training sessions that it is business as usual.
To all existing volunteers and participants, we have drawn up a new contact list should anyone need to reach us while out on the town: Rachel, myself, Carol and Jo are your go-to people in case of emergencies.
