In the event of wet weather and / or a return to lockdown, we will either cancel or postpone for a later date.

Gig Buddies Sydney staff will be in attendance but will not provide individual support.

Gig Buddies Sydney staff will assist attendees with catching public transport, taxis or Ubers up until 30 minutes after the completion of the walk; Gig Buddies Sydney staff are unable to assist attendees who remain at the final destination beyond this time.

Transport to the meeting place and from the designated final destination is not supplied. Attendees are responsible for making their own way to and from the walk.

Attendees are not required to be paired with a gig buddy to join us. Those who are signed up either as a Gig Buddy participant or volunteer are welcome to join us.

In line with social distancing guidelines, all walks will be limited to 11 attendees (including one Gig Buddies Sydney staff member). Attendance numbers will not be increased beyond 11. In the event of a walk selling out, people may add their name to the ‘reservation list’. This will operate on a first come, first serve (if someone pulls out their spot will be taken by the first name on the reservation list).

We want to ensure as many different buddies as possible partake in our walks. Due to the limited number of places available for each walk, preference will be given to those who live within the local area.

While each walk varies in distance and time, all walks are physically demanding and time consuming. Breaks will be taken throughout.

With regards to the risk posed by Covid-19, if you’re feeling unwell we ask that you do not attend. We will be encouraging attendees to socially distance. We recommend attendees bring hand sanitiser. Gig Buddies takes no responsibility in the event of an attendee falling ill following our walks.
