When is a gig not a gig?

We often hear from buddies who inform us: “I’m not into gigs…. I don’t like live music, can I still use the service?”

We’re more than music.

As a snapshot, during the past three months we’ve received 16 buddy and 35 complete volunteer applications. if we were to look at their respective interests it would look something like this….

(In brackets the number of buddies interested in each hobby)

So when is a gig not a gig?

Our answer: a ‘gig’ can be anything.

This is perhaps best illustrated up by our promotional video, set to appear on the big screen during our charity match between Cronulla Sharks and Manly Sea Eagles on Sunday 5 August.

Let us know what you think of Tony’s handiwork. We’ve tried to shine a light on gig buddies’ wide variety of interests.

On the subject of our charity match, we are still looking for willing volunteers. If you would like to assist the Gig Buddies Sydney team with fundraising efforts, as well as watch the video beamed to a packed Shark Park, get in touch via email: info@gigbuddiessydney.org
